The Marin Alcatraz 1 Bike is ready for dirt jumps, pump tracks, skateparks, slopestyle, or virtually anything you throw at it. It has a Series 3 6061 aluminum frame and a Marin Series 21 Cro Mo 26" fork that is suspension corrected so you can swap it out for a 100mm fork. The Alcatraz uses 26" wheels and features a threaded bottom bracket, ISCG-05 tabs, internal cable routing, horizontal dropouts, and a chain tension device. The 1 version of the Marin Alcatraz comes with a simple single-speed drivetrain with a 32T chainring up front and a 14T single-speed cog on the rear. Tektro MD-M280 mechanical disc brakes on the front and rear provide highly reliable stopping power so you can stop and slow down under control. With the Marin Custom Extrusion Rims and Vee Tire Co. XCV Tires, you'll have a fast-rolling setup that also has ample traction on hardpack dirt.
