What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Eiger Nordwand Advanced HS Pants on a mixed climbing trip in the Alps-light enough to move fast, but bomber when the weather turned. The tapered leg fit perfectly over my mountaineering boots without extra fabric flapping, and the drop-seat zipper was a lifesaver on long days in a harness. It's rare to find pants this light that still feel so protective."Built for alpine missions where every gram matters, the Mammut Eiger Nordwand Advanced HS Pants blend ultralight packability with GORE-TEX Pro durability. Athlete-tested in the harshest conditions, these pants deliver reliable waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability in a minimalist design that still includes the features climbers and mountaineers rely on. The articulated fit and tapered legs keep movement precise and snag-free, while Dyneema(R)-reinforced cuffs fend off crampon strikes and sharp rock. A high waistband and low-profile waist adjustment disappear under a harness, and the drop-seat design means relief without removing gear mid-route. Side zips manage ventilation during high-output pushes, and an integrated RECCO(R) reflector boosts safety in alpine terrain. With a repair patch kit included, these pants are engineered not just for performance, but for longevity in remote environments.
