Rio Ammunition Royal Buck Features The Rio Ammunition Royal Buck load stacks 12 pellets of 1 Buck lead shot inside a 2.75 hull driven to a muzzle velocity of 1345 fps for hard-hitting terminal performance. The 4x3 pellet stacking arrangement keeps the payload consistent from shell to shell which translates into more predictable pattern spread at the range. A 16mm brass head provides reliable extraction and consistent primer seating across repeated firing cycles. This all-purpose buckshot load is built to perform reliably whether cycled through a pump-action or semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun. Each box holds 25 rounds of this Royal Buck load giving shooters enough rounds for serious pattern testing or a dedicated range session with their defensive shotgun. Rio Ammunition markets this shell as an all-purpose buckshot load suitable for both home defense use and hunting applications where buckshot is legal and appropriate. The lead shot construction and standard 2.75 hull length keep the load compatible with the widest range of 12 gauge shotguns already in service. Shooters looking for a dependable all-purpose buckshot load for defense or field use will find this Rio Royal Buck shell a solid choice.
