Birchwood Casey Bipod Shooting Mat Features The Birchwood Casey Bipod shooting mat is constructed from 1000D nylon a tough abrasion-resistant material chosen to stand up to repeated use on gravel rock and other hard surfaces without tearing. The double Velcro closure secures weighted media inside the mat which helps absorb recoil and dampen vibration at the moment of firing translating to a steadier sight picture and more consistent shot placement. Its small 16 by 8 inch footprint is sized specifically for a bipod rather than a full prone position making it an easy add to a range bag or hunting pack. The Tan colorway blends into dry ground and brush keeping the setup low profile in the field. Because the mat prevents a bipod s feet from sinking into soft soil or sand shooters get a more repeatable platform shot after shot which matters when follow-up shots depend on the gun returning to the same position. The compact size means it stores flat and travels easily between a truck a blind and a shooting bench. It pairs naturally with the larger Birchwood Casey shooting mat for shooters who want both a full prone mat and a dedicated bipod pad. For sale at GrabAGun this mat is a simple affordable upgrade for hunters and target shooters looking to steady their bipod on any terrain.
