Birchwood Casey Cleaning Kit Features The Birchwood Casey Cleaning Kit is built around three purpose specific tools that cover the full range of bore maintenance. The bronze brush is sized for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington bores and is stiff enough to break down carbon and copper fouling without wearing on rifling. The tornado brush is designed for heavier fouling using its twisted bristle pattern to reach into grooves that a standard bronze brush can miss. Together the two brushes let a shooter move from routine maintenance to a deeper clean without swapping kits. The cotton mop rounds out the set letting the shooter apply a thin even coat of oil or apply solvent before a final wipe down. All three attachments use a standard cleaning rod thread so they drop into an existing cleaning kit without an adapter. The set is compact enough to keep in a range bag alongside a rod and solvent for use between range sessions. For any 5.56 or .223 shooter who wants dedicated bore tools rather than a generic universal brush this three piece set is a practical addition available for sale at GrabAGun.
