Birchwood Casey AR500 Gong Features The Birchwood Casey AR500 Gong is built from genuine 3/8 inch AR500 steel a hardened alloy specifically chosen to withstand repeated impacts from centerfire rifle and pistol rounds without deforming or cratering prematurely. Rated to handle up to 3000 ft lbs of bullet energy the target is built for serious use rather than casual plinking alone giving shooters confidence it will hold up to a wide range of calibers. The 10 inch round shape delivers an audible satisfying clang when hit solidly giving shooters instant feedback without needing to walk downrange to check targets. Precision laser cutting ensures the target s edges stay smooth and burr free reducing the risk of dangerous steel fragmentation at the mounting points. A bright white powder coat finish covers the target for high visibility making it easier to see and confirm hits even at longer distances or in low light conditions. Square mounting holes are compatible with standard carriage bolts which are not included giving shooters flexibility in how they choose to hang or stand the target. This double hang hole design supports multiple mounting configurations whether on a dedicated stand or a target frame already in use. Ideal for personal defense training or simply enjoying a day of target practice the Birchwood Casey AR500 Gong is a durable reusable addition to any home or commercial range setup.
