Cimarron Firearms Nueces 73 Features The Cimarron Firearms Nueces 73 is built around a specially designed 24.25 heavy round barrel a distinctive profile chambered in .45 Colt and stamped with the T*S marking historically used on rifles issued to the Texas Rangers. This heavy barrel adds stability during offhand shooting while paying tribute to a specific piece of Texas law enforcement history. A traditional lever action cycles smoothly giving the rifle genuine shooting capability alongside its historical styling. A 1:16 twist rate is matched to stabilize .45 Colt loads effectively across normal shooting distances. A hand-rubbed oil finish on the walnut stock and forend brings out the wood s natural grain giving the rifle a rich traditional appearance that improves with age and use. The classic blued metal finish throughout complements the walnut furniture tying the whole rifle together in a cohesive period-correct look. At just over 7 lbs the Nueces 73 remains light enough to carry comfortably while still offering the heft needed for steady offhand shooting. For collectors and shooters drawn to rifles with genuine historical ties the Nueces 73 stands as an heirloom-quality piece built to be cherished for years.
