Made circa 1850s. 38 caliber with a 32 1/2" barrel. Very fine well made gun in excellent condition. The barrel has 90% of the original brown finish. Wood is excellent with cross hatched checkering. All edges are nice and sharp. This action has a back action lock. Both the front and rear sight are hooded. Very fine original New York Target Gun! (AL5698)
