NSN, circa 1798-1801, .69 caliber, 43.75", Metal is a light grey patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Barrel is marked "CP" forward of tang. Lock plate is marked "Miles/CP". Stock is in overall good condition with a repaired crack located leftside. This repair starts from the upper side plate to the barrel tang. John Miles had two contracts for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1798 and 1801 for 2000 each. Action holds at half and full cock. (AL8107)
