NSN, circa late 1780's, .75 caliber, 39" round barrel. Barrel is a smooth grey patina marked "spr/fxr/2684" on the left side, forward of the bolster is marked "L/27". Bolster is marked with "488". Lock plate has a faint "MOORE", Rear of the hammer is marked "1788/EIC Heart". Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches noted. Trigger guard is stamped "240", action holds at half and full cock.
