NSN, made in 1817 by the Mutzig Royal Arsenal, .69 caliber, 44.75" smooth bore barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a smooth Grey patina with pin-prick surface oxidation visible. Barrel is proofed with appropriate Arsenal marks and dated 1817, tange is marked ""Mle 1777". Lock plate is marked in the third variation. Stock is in very good plus condition with a repair on the upper mortis rear of the cock. Handsome cartouche is visible, action holds at half and full cock. (AL9621)
