Serial number 289. Made circa 1855. 10.8mm caliber with a 6 1/2" barrel. This is a nice sharp example of a very scarce French revolver. This gun was nickel plated and has approximately 50% of the finish still remaining on the barrel. The frame and cylinder have been cleaned and have a light gray patina. Various inspectors marks are on the barrel, frame and cylinder. The grips are very good. The action works perfectly. Comes with research paper work on Devisme revolver. (AH8854)
