"Is this the world's toughest, most reliable rod? The Bass Pro Shops Whuppin' Stick Casting Rod builds on the tradition established by its popular predecessors to bring you a rod that's not only capable of handling all the heavy lifting that comes with catching big fish, but is nearly indestructible too. Our powerful Triple Bonded Hybrid blank consists of a 24-ton slit carbon core that provides great backbone, action, and sensitivity; then a layer of 8-ton E-glass for strength and flexibility; and a final 8-ton E-glass spiral wrap for even more durability. Its solid fiberglass, Hi-Vis white tip loads smoothly and offers just the right amount of ""give"" for handling hard-surging fighters. Fitted with rugged stainless steel guide frames and aluminum oxide inserts, an exposed-blank graphite reel seat, and comfortably contoured EVA grips, our Whuppin' Stick is destined to be a cornerstone of your rod arsenal for a long time to come.
