Christensen Arms Evoke Precision, 7mm PRC, 22 Threaded Barrel, 3 Rounds, Dark Gray Cerakote/Black, Bolt Action RifleThe Christensen Arms Evoke Precision is the flagship of the Evoke family, a line built to bring Christensen Arms quality to hunters who want premium features in a practical, go-anywhere rifle. This model is chambered in 7mm PRC, one of the most capable modern long range hunting cartridges, and pairs it with a 22-inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:8 twist. It carries every feature of the standard Evoke and adds the upgrades serious shooters ask for: an adjustable cheek riser, a 0 MOA Picatinny scope base and an integrated ARCA rail section for tripods and shooting rests.Christensen Arms designed the Evoke to be lightweight and balanced for all-day carry, while the precision-machined receiver and free-floated stainless barrel are built to deliver sub-MOA accuracy. From a whitetail stand to an open-country elk or mule deer hunt, the Evoke Precision gives you a rifle that is ready for long shots without the cost of a custom build.Key FeaturesChambered in 7mm PRC with a 1:8 twist rate22-inch 416R stainless steel barrel with a dark gray Cerakote finishButton rifled, match chamber and free-floating barrelMuzzle threaded 5/8x24 (standard pitch) and fitted with a muzzle brakeChristensen Arms precision-machined long action receiverAdjustable TriggerTech trigger, 2.5 to 5 lbs, factory set at about 3 lbs0 MOA Picatinny scope base on a standard Remington 700 footprint (8-40 screws)Black polymer stock with a hybrid grip angle, recoil pad and adjustable cheek riserIntegrated ARCA rail and Picatinny rail section on the fore-end3-round detachable box magazineWhy 7mm PRCThe 7mm PRC was designed from the start for long, heavy-for-caliber bullets with high ballistic coefficients. It fits in a long action, shoots flat, resists wind drift and carries plenty of energy at distance, which makes it a favorite for elk, mule deer, black bear and other big game in open country. The 1:8 twist on the Evoke Precision is chosen to stabilize those long, sleek 7mm bullets, so you can take full advantage of the cartridge from close range out to the distances where it really shines.Barrel and MuzzleThe heart of the rifle is its 416R stainless steel barrel. It is button rifled, cut with a match chamber and free-floated in the stock so nothing touches it between the receiver and the muzzle. Christensen Arms contours the barrel for balance and rigidity, which helps it deliver consistent harmonics and good heat dissipation shot after shot. The dark gray Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance and keeps glare down in the field. The muzzle is threaded in the standard 5/8x24 pitch, so you can run the included muzzle brake to tame 7mm PRC recoil or swap in a suppressor of your choice.Action and TriggerThe Evoke is built on a Christensen Arms precision-machined receiver. Every Evoke uses a long action receiver regardless of caliber, which suits the 7mm PRC perfectly. The action follows the Remington 700 footprint, which opens up a wide range of aftermarket parts and accessories, and the factory 0 MOA Picatinny base mounts with standard 8-40 screws for a solid optic platform. The adjustable TriggerTech trigger breaks crisply and can be set anywhere from 2.5 to 5 pounds. It ships at about 3 pounds, a weight most hunters find easy to control from a field position.Stock and ErgonomicsThe polymer stock is designed to stay comfortable on a long hike and steady when it is time to shoot. A hybrid grip angle sits between a traditional sporter and a vertical target grip, so it works well from prone, off a pack or from shooting sticks. The adjustable cheek riser lets you get a proper cheek weld behind a large, high-mounted scope, and the recoil pad softens the push of the magnum-class cartridge. An integrated ARCA rail and Picatinny rail section on the fore-end let you attach a bipod or clamp the rifle directly to a tripod for steady long range shots. Sling swivel studs make it easy to carry.Who It's ForThe Evoke Precision 7mm PRC is a strong match for western hunters chasing elk and mule deer, for shooters who want one rifle that can hunt and also ring steel at long range, and for anyone who wants Christensen Arms features at a practical level.
