The SIG516 G3 builds on the 516 series blending modern enhancements with a proven battletested design. Deployed in some of the harshest environments worldwide the SIG516 G3 draws on more than a decade of real world user feedback to deliver exceptional durability and reliability within its class. Chambered in 5.56 NATO the SIG516 G3 is standard with a 16 cold hammer forged barrel with a 17inch twist rate. The intuitive design of the SIG516 G3s unique rear and side nonreciprocating charging handle allows the rifle to be easily operated in any manner in any condition. To support longterm operational use and extended reliability the rifle features steelreinforced components for highwear areas cam path and feed ramp. The SIG516 G3 is standard with fully ambidextrous controls including the bolt catch magazine catch safety and charging handle. Additional onrifle components include a SIG Matchlite DUO curved trigger SIG flash hider compensator and a freefloating MLOK handguard.
