This revolver is one of Cimarron's offerings in "ready for competition straight out of the box." This sixgun was designed especially for the Cowboy Mounted Shooter. Working with Cimarron's Model P or Thunderer, this competition single action has been approved by the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA) and has been wholeheartedly approved and competed with, by multi-winning CMSA World and National champions! Produced with the standard peacemaker-style stock and the low wide hammer of the originals. It is offered in the easy handling barrel length of 3 1/2 inches for SASS shooters. You'll love the fit and smooth handling qualities of this mounted shooter's revolver--in the saddle or on the ground. Aptly named, this sixgun is taking mounted shooting by storm! You'll be seeing Cimarron's Mounted Shooting Team using Thunderstorms in upcoming CMSA competitions.
