Designed for commanding performance on trails and gravel roads. These pedals are lighter and thinner than many other XC pedals, with a low stack height and more platform area for control and power transfer. An open center between the cages means increased mud shedding compared to other SPD-compatible pedals. The large platform area maximizes pedal and shoe contact. With many XC pedals, the only point of contact between the shoe and pedal is the cleat and cage, where it can feel like pedaling on a golf ball. With ALT XC Performance Clipless Pedals, the shoe contacts the pedal body to lock in your foot for enhanced performance.ALT XC Performance Clipless Pedals feature satin nickel plated chromoly axles and hard chrome plated SPD-compatible binding assemblies for extreme durability. They're so durable, they might even outlast your bikeClipping in and out needs to be simple, quick, and reliable, featuring an SPD-compatible cage that will work with your existing SPD cleats. Wolf Tooth cleats are included in the box for optimized performanceDesigned with a thin profile and an open center. The thin profile means a reduced chance of pedal strikes when cornering or riding over rocks and roots. The open center quickly sheds mud that can interfere with clipping in and out to ensure that your clips and unclips are quick and reliableItem SpecificationsCleat InterfaceShimano SPDColorBlackDefined ColorBlackPedal Body MaterialAluminumPedal Spindle9/16"Pedal TypeDual Sided CliplessSpindle MaterialChromolyWeight326 Wolf Tooth ALT XC Performance Pedals Pedals UPC: 810159402972 MPN: ALT-CLPS-PFM-BLK
