Product Description
evo.com | Weston Splitboards > Made for skinning into steep, tree filled zones where pow days stay deep long after the resort is tracked out, the Weston Backwoods Splitboard is the backcountry version of Weston's all time favorite freeride board. Camber underfoot and full inner metal edges hold on firm sidehills and exposed lines, and the wide rocker nose stays up through deep snow. Two carbon stringers in each half give it the drive to slay pow in tight trees and on big lines. Standard Splitboard Insert Pattern Rugged Topsheet Polymide is eco friendly and made from castor beans. The topsheet is durable and resistant to scratches and scuffs. Tip to Tail Carbon Carbon fiber run through the entire core from tip to tail to provide added pop and response. Flex Rating 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Sintered Durasurf 4001 The gold standard in bases. The 4000-series sintered bases have a higher density than other options on the market, and are therefore more durable. Additionally, it absorbs more wax, making for a faster and smoother ride. 4000-series PTEX is usually reserved for only top-of-the-line boards due to a higher manufacturing cost, but at Weston it's the minimum standard. | Weston Backwoods Splitboard 2027 - 157
