The Safariland 6390RDSO is a right-hand, mid-ride duty holster configured for the Springfield Armory Echelon with a 4.5-inch barrel, a compatible red-dot sight and a SureFire X300U weapon-mounted light. It is intended for uniformed duty, range and tactical applications where secure handgun retention and an efficient, repeatable draw are important. Safariland's Automatic Locking System, commonly known as ALS, engages when the pistol is fully seated in the holster. Deactivating the release permits a natural straight-up draw while providing Duty Rated Level I Retention when the pistol is holstered. The RDSO configuration uses an open optic pocket rather than the flip-up optic cover found on some other Safariland RDS holsters. This layout helps shield the installed sight within the holster profile while leaving the optic area accessible. Thermal-molded SafariLaminate construction provides a rigid, purpose-shaped body that protects the handgun and mounted equipment during daily use, while the suede lining helps protect the pistol's finish. The black STX Tactical exterior gives this model a professional appearance suited to black duty gear. A mid-ride belt loop positions the holster at a practical duty height and keeps it relatively close to the body for a balanced combination of access and stability. This model is made specifically for right-hand use and should be selected only for the stated Echelon, light and optic configuration. Proper holster fit can be affected by the precise optic model, mounting location and other firearm modifications, so the complete handgun setup should be checked before use. For users carrying an optic-equipped Springfield Echelon with an X300U, this 6390RDSO combines dedicated equipment compatibility, active ALS retention and a durable duty-oriented mounting arrangement in one complete holster.Specifications and Features: Fits Springfield Armory Echelon with 4.5-inch barrel Compatible with SureFire X300U weapon light Optic-ready open-pocket RDSO design Right-hand, outside-the-waistband configuration ALS automatic locking retention system Duty Rated Level I Retention Mid-ride belt loop Black STX Tactical finish SafariLaminate thermal-molded construction Suede lining Brand: Safariland Series: 6390RDSO Product Type: Duty Holster Manufacturer Part Number: 6390RDSO-572-131 UPC: 781602251594
