The Havalon Piranta-Z is a lightweight folding hunting knife designed for detailed field-dressing, skinning and caping work. Instead of relying on a conventional blade that must be sharpened repeatedly, it uses Havalon's replaceable 60A blade system, allowing a worn blade to be removed and replaced when a fresh cutting edge is needed. The installed 60A blade is made from stainless steel and measures 2.75 inches long, providing a practical profile for controlled cuts while processing game. Its black military-grade polymer handle keeps the knife manageable in a hunting pack and provides a longer, wider gripping surface than the original Piranta design. With a blade installed and fully opened, the knife measures 7.25 inches overall. Ambidextrous thumb studs assist with opening from either side, while the liner-lock construction secures the blade carrier in its working position. An open-back handle design provides access around the internal frame when cleaning the knife after field use. The Piranta-Z weighs 3 ounces, making it a useful option for hunters who pay close attention to pack weight but still want a dedicated game-processing tool. This configuration includes seven total 60A blades, so replacement cutting edges are available without adding a separate sharpening system to the field kit. A blade remover is also supplied to assist with handling the exceptionally sharp replaceable blades during changes. The included nylon holster keeps the folded knife and related components together for organized transport on a hunt. Compact, purpose-built and easy to maintain, the Piranta-Z is well suited to hunters, guides and taxidermy work requiring precise cuts and a consistently sharp blade.Specifications and Features: 2.75-inch replaceable 60A stainless steel blade Black military-grade polymer handle 7.25-inch overall open length Ambidextrous thumb studs Open-back design for easier cleaning Liner-lock folding construction Includes seven total 60A blades Nylon holster and blade remover included Weight: 3 oz (0.188 lb) Brand: Havalon Series: Piranta-Z Product Type: Folding hunting and skinning knife Manufacturer Part Number: XTC-60AZ UPC: 736370701260
