The Buck 663 Alpha Guide Backcountry is a fixed-blade hunting knife designed for backcountry field use and practical cutting tasks around camp. This exact configuration combines a 4.375-inch drop-point blade with a hollow grind and durable 420HC steel, creating a versatile profile suited to hunters who prefer a substantial blade without carrying an oversized knife. A Cerakote finish distinguishes the Backcountry model and covers the blade with a subdued, nonreflective appearance. Jimping along the spine provides a defined contact area for the thumb when additional control is useful during careful cuts. The blade measures 0.140 inch thick, giving the knife a solid working profile while keeping its weight to 5.05 ounces. At 9.125 inches overall, the Alpha Guide offers enough handle and blade length for demanding field work while remaining manageable on a belt or in a hunting pack. Its black handle combines VersaFlex rubber with glass-filled nylon, pairing a resilient outer gripping surface with a rigid supporting structure. The shaped handle is intended to provide a secure, practical hold during extended outdoor use, and its dark color coordinates with the included sheath. Buck supplies this model with a black Kydex sheath equipped with a belt attachment, allowing the fixed blade to be carried securely and kept readily accessible. The molded sheath also protects the cutting edge and surrounding equipment while the knife is being transported. With its drop-point geometry, coated 420HC blade, composite handle construction and dedicated belt sheath, the 663 Alpha Guide Backcountry is a purpose-built choice for hunters seeking a straightforward fixed blade for field processing, campsite chores and other outdoor cutting needs.Specifications and Features: 4.375-inch drop-point blade Hollow-ground 420HC steel blade Cerakote blade finish with spine jimping Blade Thickness: 0.140 in Overall Length: 9.125 in Black VersaFlex rubber and glass-filled nylon handle Black Kydex sheath with belt attachment included Knife Weight: 5.05 oz Packaging: Box Brand: Buck Knives Series: 663 Alpha Guide Backcountry Product Type: Fixed Blade Hunting Knife Manufacturer Part Number: 0663BKS1-B UPC: 033753176463
