Sierra Pro-Hunter .40 Caliber 200 Grain JHP bullets are component projectiles developed for hunters and handloaders working with the 400 Legend cartridge. This exact variant uses a .400-inch-diameter, 200-grain jacketed hollow-point projectile and is supplied in a box of 100. Sierra identifies the design as optimized for 400 Legend, giving reloaders a purpose-built option rather than requiring them to adapt a lighter handgun-oriented projectile to this straight-wall rifle cartridge. The bullet belongs to Sierra's Pro-Hunter family, a line built around flat-base designs for dependable accuracy and practical hunting performance. Its hollow-point configuration is intended to support controlled expansion, while the construction is designed to provide the penetration required for medium and heavy game appropriate to the caliber. The 200-grain weight also gives hunters a substantial projectile suited to the moderate velocities associated with the cartridge's intended use. These are bullets only, not complete cartridges, and they cannot be fired as packaged. Cases, primers and powder are not included. Each projectile must be assembled into properly prepared cartridge cases using suitable reloading equipment and reliable, current load data. Sierra publishes dedicated 400 Legend data for this specific bullet, helping experienced handloaders select an appropriate overall length, powder and charge range for their equipment and components. As with any metallic-cartridge reloading project, loads should be developed carefully while following established safety procedures and checking compatibility with the individual firearm. For hunters loading 400 Legend ammunition, this 100-count box offers an exact-caliber Pro-Hunter JHP designed around the cartridge and its field role, combining a flat base, hunting-oriented hollow point and heavy-for-caliber 200-grain configuration in one clearly identified component.Specifications and Features: .400-inch diameter 200-grain jacketed hollow-point bullet Flat-base design Optimized for 400 Legend handloading Designed for controlled expansion and deep penetration Intended for medium and heavy game hunting 100 bullets per box Reloading components only; not loaded ammunition Brand: Sierra Bullets Series: Pro-Hunter Product Type: Rifle Reloading Bullets Manufacturer Part Number: 3100 UPC: 092763031001
