The Buck Knives 631 PakLite Field Select is a lightweight fixed-blade hunting knife designed for field dressing, campsite work and other practical outdoor cutting tasks. Its 4-inch skinner blade provides a useful combination of cutting length and control for detailed work around game, while the curved profile helps the user make deliberate cuts during processing. Buck uses 420HC stainless steel for this Select-series version and applies a stonewashed finish that gives the blade a subdued, work-ready appearance. The plain edge is easy to maintain with standard sharpening equipment, making the knife a practical choice for hunters who want straightforward performance in the field. A full-tang, skeletonized frame runs through the entire 8.25-inch knife, providing a strong structure without unnecessary bulk. Small orange glass-filled nylon inserts add contact points for the hand while preserving the PakLite design's open, minimalist character. The bright orange color also makes the knife easier to spot among leaves, equipment or other items at camp. These inserts can be removed, allowing more complete access to the frame when the knife needs cleaning after use. An opening at the end of the handle provides a convenient attachment point for a lanyard. At only 3.03 ounces, the knife is well suited to hunters and outdoorsmen who carefully manage pack weight but still prefer the stability and simplicity of a fixed blade. The included black polypropylene sheath protects the cutting edge during storage and transport and provides a convenient belt-carry option. Made in the USA with an imported sheath, this exact orange Field Select configuration offers a functional balance of low weight, accessible blade steel and easy-to-clean construction for use in the field.Specifications and Features: 4-inch 420HC stainless steel skinner blade Stonewashed plain-edge blade finish Full-tang, skeletonized fixed-blade construction Orange glass-filled nylon handle inserts Removable handle inserts for easier cleaning 8.25-inch overall length Lanyard hole Black polypropylene belt sheath included Product Weight: 3.03 ounces Made in the USA; sheath imported Brand: Buck Knives Series: 631 PakLite Field Select Product Type: Fixed-Blade Hunting Knife Manufacturer Part Number: 0631ORS-B UPC: 033753164750
