The Shimano Antares B Spare Spool gives anglers a replacement or backup spool for the Shimano Antares B Casting Reel (FishUSA SKU#: F24431), making it easy to keep alternate line setups ready for bass, pike, and other baitcasting applications. Shimano's MGL Spool IV features a reverse-taper profile that promotes more balanced line winding, helping reduce the uneven spool rotation and shaking that can create vibration during a cast. With line distributing more evenly across the spool, rotation stays smooth and efficient as the spool accelerates. The result is a refined casting feel that lets line leave the reel cleanly when firing crankbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits, and other casting presentations across open water or around structure.
