Rearden Mfg Atlas Gen 2 Bravo, 1.375-24 TPI, Black Nitride, Thread AdapterThe Rearden Mfg Atlas Gen 2 Bravo is a thread adapter that gives your suppressor a mount interface for Rearden and Plan B compatible muzzle devices. It threads into suppressors that use inside diameter Bravo 1.375-24 rear threads, the common HUB-style thread pattern, and turns that rear end into a mount that pairs with every Rearden muzzle device as well as the Q Cherry Bomb and other Plan B compatible devices. This is part number 10254, the black nitride version. It is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel heat treated to the H900 condition, then finished in black nitride with a 67 HRC surface hardness. The result is a hard, wear-resistant adapter that holds up to repeated mounting and removal, heat cycles and carbon buildup. At 2.15 oz and only 0.400 in. of added length, the Atlas adds very little weight or length to your setup. If you run more than one rifle or want to move a single suppressor between hosts, the Atlas is a clean way to standardize on Rearden or Plan B compatible devices across your rifles.Key FeaturesBravo 1.375-24 threads for suppressors with inside diameter Bravo (HUB-style) rear threading.Mount interface for all Rearden muzzle devices, the Q Cherry Bomb and other Plan B compatible devices.17-4 PH H900 stainless steel for strength and toughness.Black nitride finish with 67 HRC surface hardness for wear and corrosion resistance.Low profile, adds only 0.400 in. of length.Light weight, 2.15 oz.1-1/4 in. wrench flats for secure installation and removal.SpecificationsManufacturerRearden MfgModelAtlas Gen 2 BravoPart Number10254UPC850058579528TypeSuppressor mount thread adapterThreads1.375-24 TPI (Bravo, inside diameter threading)Material17-4 PH stainless steel, H900FinishBlack nitride (67 HRC surface hardness)Weight2.15 oz.Length added0.400 in.Wrench flats1-1/4 in.CompatibilityAll Rearden muzzle devices, Q Cherry Bomb and other Plan B compatible muzzle devicesHow the Atlas WorksMany modern suppressors use a 1.375-24 rear thread so the owner can choose the mount system. The Atlas threads into that rear opening and becomes the part of the suppressor that meets the muzzle device. Once it is in place, the suppressor mounts to any Rearden muzzle device or other Plan B compatible device on your rifle. Put matching devices on each of your rifles and one suppressor can move between them. Why 17-4 PH H900 and Nitride17-4 PH is a precipitation hardening stainless steel, and the H900 heat treat condition brings it to high strength and hardness. That matters on a part that sits right behind the blast of every shot and carries the full load of the suppressor. The black nitride finish adds a very hard surface layer, rated at 67 HRC, which helps resist wear on the threads and mating surfaces, and gives the adapter a clean black look that matches most black suppressors and devices.Mixing FinishesYou do not need to match finishes. A black nitride Atlas works with Rearden muzzle devices in any finish, so you can mix and match. Rearden also makes the Atlas Gen 2 Bravo in other finishes if you want a different look.Installation TipsMake sure the threads in the suppressor and on the adapter are clean and free of carbon before installing. Use the 1-1/4 in. wrench flats to tighten the Atlas into the suppressor following your suppressor maker's installation instructions, and always check that the mount is fully seated before firing. After installing on a rifle, it is good practice to confirm bore alignment with an alignment rod.FAQsWhat does the Rearden Atlas Gen 2 Bravo do?It threads into the rear of a suppressor that has inside diameter Bravo 1.375-24 threads and gives it a mount interface for Rearden and Plan B compatible muzzle devices. What thread pitch is this Atlas? This version, part number 10254, is 1.375-24 TPI (Bravo). What muzzle devices does it work with? All Rearden muzzle devices, plus the Q Cherry Bomb and other Plan B compatible muzzle devices.Do I have to use a nitride muzzle device with the nitride Atlas? No. You do not need to match the finish; you can mix and match finishes. How much weight and length does it add?The Atlas weighs 2.15 oz. and adds 0.400 in. of length. What is it made of?17-4 PH stainless steel in the H900 condition, finished in black nitride with a 67 HRC surface hardness. What wrench do I need? The adapter has 1-1/4 in. wrench flats. Is a suppressor included? No. This listing is for the Atlas thread adapter only.
