The Avet HXJ MC Raptor Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers a narrow specialty reel with serious drag power and adjustable cast control for jigging, bottom fishing, live baiting, and targeting tuna, amberjack, grouper, yellowtail, and other hard-fighting saltwater species. The HXJ size helps anglers guide line evenly across the spool without giving up too much line capacity, while the Raptor's lower low-gear ratio adds extra cranking leverage during deep fights. The Magic Cast Control System uses adjustable magnetic anti-backlash control to help reduce line overrun and bird nests while improving cast management with live baits, jigs, and heavier offshore rigs. Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and a true one-piece frame give the HXJ MC Raptor strength without unnecessary bulk. The anodized finish helps fight corrosion in harsh saltwater environments, while precision-machined stainless steel gears, Avet's silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, and Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags provide dependable stopping power and smooth drag performance under heavy loads. A large soft-touch handle knob gives anglers a secure grip during long fights and deep-water retrieves.
