The Avet HXJ Raptor Plus Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers the drag power, gear range, and spool control needed for amberjack, large reef fish, yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, and deep-dropping applications. Its patented dual carbon fiber drag system pairs with an adjustable strike pre-set for heavy stopping power, while the three-speed platform lets anglers move from fast jig recovery, to steady mid-range pressure, to low-gear torque when fish dig under the boat. The Raptor Plus frame adds a rounded side plate, improved ergonomic form, and a reshaped crossbar for better spool access when thumbing line on the retrieve or controlling jigs and baits in freefall. Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum, stainless steel components, and a redesigned true one-piece frame give the HXJ Raptor Plus a strong, balanced foundation with corrosion-resistant anodizing for saltwater use. Precision-machined stainless steel gears, 9 stainless steel ball bearings, Avet's silent dog and gear anti-reverse system, and a redesigned loud alarm clicker support smooth retrieves and dependable control under load. An offset machined handle arm reduces centerline profile and cranking wobble, while the large soft-touch handle knob gives anglers a secure grip during long fights.
