The Avet HX MC Two-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives saltwater anglers a strong, smooth two-speed lever drag reel for live bait, jigging, trolling, and casting to tuna, yellowtail, striped bass, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and cobia. Its Avedrag dry carbon fiber drag system delivers steady stopping power with smooth pressure and wear resistance, while the adjustable strike pre-set, ratcheting Glide Plate, and strike stop button give anglers controlled drag settings during hard runs. The Magic Cast adjustable magnetic anti-backlash cast control system helps reduce line overrun and bird's nests during long casts with live bait and heavy irons. Precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel components keep the HX MC strong without excess weight, and the redesigned true one-piece frame adds rigidity for demanding saltwater use. Precision-machined stainless steel two-speed gearing and Avet's quick shift mechanism give anglers the ability to change retrieve power during long fights and deep-water battles. An 8BB system, left- or right-hand retrieve options, and Avet's patented silent dog and gear anti-reverse system help reduce handle back-play under load. A loud alarm clicker, offset machined handle arm, comfortable soft-touch handle knob, and corrosion-resistant anodized finish round out this durable conventional reel.
