The Avet EX50 Three-Speed Lever Drag Conventional Reel gives offshore anglers a heavy-duty topless-frame reel for tuna, billfish, shark, wahoo, and deep-water bottom fishing. Available in right- or left-hand retrieve, the EX50 uses precision-machined 6061 T-6 marine-grade aluminum and stainless steel components with an anodized finish for corrosion resistance in harsh saltwater environments. Its glide plate, stainless-steel harness lugs, alarm clicker, and large, ergonomically angled handle knob help anglers stay in control during long trolling passes, stand-up battles, and deep drops. A precision-machined stainless steel 3-speed system with Avet's Quick Shift mechanism lets anglers move between fast line pickup, balanced mid-range power, and low-gear cranking torque as fish change direction or settle deep under the boat. The powerful lever drag system includes an adjustable strike pre-set and strike stop button to help prevent accidental advancement to full drag, while dual disc Avedrag dry carbon fiber drags provide smooth stopping power and long-term wear resistance. A robust dual-dog anti-reverse system delivers dependable hook-setting strength and control under heavy offshore loads.
