The Model 22 was a commercialized version of the M1917 military revolver designed to support the Colt M1911 and featured a shorter barrel along with the use of moon clips to fire the rimless .45 ACP cartridge. The new Model 22 Classic is a faithful reproduction of the original design that combines the classic look with modern manufacturing techniques to provide users with a traditional revolver that does not sacrifice durability or reliability. The Model 22 Classic also features the iconic military lanyard loop. This model features a 6-shot capacity and a 4-inch barrel. It is compatible with .45 Colt cartridges.
