The Shimano Ultegra PD-R8200 pedal brings the new low-stack SPD-SLR interface down from Shimano's flagship platform, shortening the distance between foot and pedal axle for a more direct connection to the bike. A wider contact platform spreads pressure across a bigger surface during hard efforts, and a refined pedal shape with a wider cleat catch makes clipping in faster and more consistent. Included yellow SPD-SLR cleats carry three degrees of float in each direction, with additional cleat options available for a tighter or looser range. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I clipped in cold at the start of a group ride and didn't have to hunt for the pedal, the wider catch found the cleat on the first try even with my foot still moving."
