The Dark Energy Pharos puts 1800 lumens into a rugged aluminum shell sized to carry in a pack pocket or keep in a camp kit. At that output level it covers ground a typical flashlight cannot: a full campsite, a trailhead parking area, or a dark stretch of trail where a headlamp falls short. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The 1800-lumen output lights up a full campsite or navigates a trail without a headlamp. The aluminum shell takes the drops that plastic lights don't survive."
