Underfoot, the ZipFoam midsole offers comfort and resilience over long hours on the trail, while the full-length ESS rock plate adds protection and stability when the terrain gets rough. The Vibram Megagrip outsole is made for grip in wet conditions, and a TPU heel counter helps your rear foot feel secure and supported. A universal gaiter attachment system is also included, which is handy when conditions turn sloppy. Sizing note: this boot runs best when you go up half a size. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore these on a wet hike and my feet stayed dry, which is what I want from a waterproof boot. What I noticed most was that the toe box still has that roomy Topo feel, so my toes weren't cramped on the downhills. Go up half a size and you'll have a boot that is comfortable and secure from the heel on."" - Sullivan, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Naperville ILWho It's Best ForIf you hike in changing weather and want a waterproof boot that doesn't squeeze your toes, the Trailventure 3 GTX is worth a look.
