Originally developed in response to an end-user request for a low-profile, anti-snag sling attachment, the SOCKET provides a QD attachment point without unnecessary bulk. The new Q-Sert version mounts directly to the handguard, keeping the attachment close and minimizing protrusions that can catch on equipment. Machined from a single piece of billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing, the SOCKET combines durable construction with a straightforward design.
