ZEV Technologies FDP Carbine Features The ZEV Technologies FDP Carbine centers on a folding design developed jointly with Magpul allowing the stock to lock down into an extremely compact and portable package without sacrificing firepower or reliability. Folded the carbine measures just 10.75 inches extending to 20.125 inches unfolded making it remarkably easy to store and transport compared to a fixed-stock 9mm carbine. The 7.05 inch barrel is machined from 416 stainless steel and threaded for muzzle devices giving the platform both accuracy and versatility for suppressor or muzzle brake use. A 300M steel frame and 17-4 stainless steel slide provide the strength and durability expected of a premium defensive platform while all steel components are finished in a black DLC coating for enhanced corrosion resistance. An integrated 1913 Picatinny rail runs along the top of the platform for seamless mounting of optics lights and other accessories and adjustable iron sights are built directly into the included carry handle for a reliable backup sighting option. Magpul s high-performance trigger system delivers a clean crisp break that improves accuracy and shooter confidence over a standard mil-spec trigger. Ambidextrous controls including a fully ambidextrous charging system and reversible magazine release give both left and right-handed shooters full operational control. At 3.25 pounds without accessories and built with premium corrosion-resistant materials throughout the ZEV FDP Carbine offers law enforcement military and civilian shooters a compact highly capable 9mm platform ready for rapid deployment.
