Experience reliable weapon retention and rapid adjustability with the Blue Force Gear GMT Tail Sling, a purpose-built 2-point tailed sling engineered for demanding tactical and professional use. Designed as an evolution of the classic tailed sling, this model delivers the wide adjustment range users need when transitioning between no-kit, body armor, packs, and varying environments, all while addressing the common shortcomings of legacy designs. Key Features Superior CORDURA Webbing: Constructed from proprietary solution-dyed INVISTA CORDURA nylon for enhanced thickness, softness, and durability compared to thin legacy materials, reducing abrasion and improving comfort during extended carry. Double-Locking Adjuster: Custom glass-reinforced DuPont Zytel nylon hardware provides consistent tension without springs or teeth that can fail, ensuring the sling stays set until intentionally adjusted. Snag-Free Operation: Spherical release knob allows quick loosening with a simple pull, while the reinforced tail end and sewn-in stop prevent over-extension and minimize interference with gear or the weapon. Versatile Width Options: Available in 1.00-inch for ultralight builds, submachine guns, and pistol caliber carbines, or 1.25-inch for standard rifles and shotguns, both compatible with common sling swivels and hardware. Specifications Colors: Black, Coyote, Multicam, Ranger Green Weight: Approximately 99 grams Adjustment Range: Broad spectrum from compact retention to extended positions (roughly 34-64 inches overall) Material: Solution-dyed CORDURA nylon webbing with TEX 70 bonded nylon thread Hardware: Rust-free, glass-filled nylon double-locking buckle Installation: Triglides for attachment to swivels, loops, or additional hardware (sold separately) Made in the USA with water-resistant properties Why Choose the GMT Tail Sling Traditional tailed slings often suffer from unreliable adjusters, uncomfortable webbing, and snag hazards that compromise performance in the field. The GMT overcomes these issues with a modern, purpose-engineered design that maintains the free-running tail preferred by many operators for maximum flexibility across loadouts and positions. Whether tightening for sling-supported shooting or loosening for mobility in full kit, this sling provides dependable control without added bulk or failure points. Ideal for law enforcement, military, and serious shooters seeking a premium tactical accessory that prioritizes reliability and comfort. Upgrade your carry setup with the Blue Force Gear GMT Tail Sling and enjoy the confidence of a sling built to perform under pressure.
