Woodhaven Calls Walnut Striker Features The Woodhaven Calls Walnut Striker is custom hand-crafted and specifically shaped for use on glass friction calls where the tip material and shape directly affect the tone and volume produced. Because it is built from birch wood the striker offers a different tonal character than carbon or acrylic strikers giving hunters another option to vary their calling sequence and sound more realistic to wary birds. A hand-crafted striker like this benefits from more consistent balance and finish than mass-produced alternatives translating into smoother more controllable strokes across the call s striking surface. This attention to craftsmanship is a hallmark of Woodhaven s approach to turkey calling products. This striker is designed to work with any Woodhaven friction call making it a natural pairing for hunters already running Woodhaven pot calls in their setup. It can also be used to add variety to a favorite existing call from another maker giving a hunter a quick way to change tone without buying an entirely new call. The mechanical design relies on the wood grain and tip shaping to produce clean yelps clucks and purrs with practice. This Walnut Striker from Woodhaven Calls is a simple effective addition to any turkey hunter s calling arsenal for sale at GrabAGun.
