Winchester M855 Green Tip Features The Winchester USA Lake City M855 Green Tip is loaded to the M855 military specification pairing a 62 grain FMJ bullet with a steel penetrator core identifiable by its green tip. Launched at 3060 fps this load delivers flat trajectory and reliable function across standard AR-platform rifles chambered in 5.56X45 NATO. Manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant the same facility that supplies ammunition to U.S. military forces this load carries the pedigree of genuine mil-spec production. Shooters can expect the discoloration caused by the annealing process on the brass a cosmetic trait of Lake City manufacturing rather than a defect. Packaged in a 100-round bulk pack with brass cases this load is built for high-volume range use training and stocking up without paying a premium for retail boxing. Minor case blemishes from bulk packing are normal and do not affect reliability or accuracy. The FMJ bullet construction feeds smoothly through semi-automatic rifles while keeping cost per round low for repeated range sessions. For AR-15 owners who want authentic Lake City M855 ammunition in bulk quantity the Winchester USA Lake City M855 Green Tip is available for sale at GrabAGun.
