Winchester Unprimed Brass Features Winchester Unprimed Brass for the .400 Legend arrives completely unprimed giving handloaders full control over primer selection and seating depth from the very first loading cycle. Because the .400 Legend is a straight-walled cartridge developed specifically by Winchester this brass is manufactured to the exact SAAMI specifications the cartridge demands for safe reliable chambering. Each case is sized to accept a small rifle primer a detail reloaders need to account for when sourcing components for their loading bench. Starting with quality consistent brass like this is one of the most important steps in producing accurate repeatable handloads. This set of 100 cases makes it practical to prep load and test a meaningful batch of .400 Legend ammunition without constantly running short on brass. The .400 Legend cartridge itself was designed to be an accessible effective option for deer hunting and target shooting and reloading it with quality Winchester brass extends that value even further over the life of the cases. With proper care this brass can be reloaded multiple times making it a cost-effective way to build out a supply of ammunition tailored to a specific rifle.
