Whitetail Institute Over-The-Shoulder Seed Spreader Features The Whitetail Institute Over-The-Shoulder Seed Spreader uses weather resistant nylon construction that keeps the bag standing open while filling then lets it collapse for compact storage between uses. A zippered top makes filling and closing the bag quick which matters when loading seed in the field rather than at a bench. The internal gears that drive the spreading mechanism are protected from dirt and moisture helping the unit hold up season after season instead of seizing up after a single use. Because the gears stay shielded from the elements the spreader is built to last through repeated food plot plantings rather than being a single season tool. An adjustable shoulder strap lets the operator set the spreader at a comfortable carry height while the long crank handle gives steady control over how fast seed is thrown. A seed flow rate adjustment combined with an on and off control switch makes it easy to dial in accurate seeding rates and stop the flow instantly at the end of a pass. Holding up to 25 pounds of seed the spreader covers a substantial food plot area before it needs a refill. For hunters and land managers planting Whitetail Institute seed blends this spreader delivers the accuracy and durability needed for productive food plots.
