Viking Tactics Hydura Features The Viking Tactics Hydura combines the original VTAC Hybrid sling design with a Cordura 500D wrapped shoulder pad which is why some packaging may still reference the Hybrid name. The 1 inch wide friction resistant material at the working adjustment section and attachment ends allows quick shoulder length transitions giving the shooter options for overcoming obstacles or performing hands free procedures. A metal quick release buckle and two tri glide buckles at each end add further adjustment control while keeping the design simple and reliable. This setup lets the sling move with the shooter rather than against them during dynamic use. The closed cell foam inside the shoulder pad resists moisture retention so the sling stays comfortable through long carries in varied weather conditions. At roughly 4.6 ounces and over 60 inches in length the Hydura is lightweight yet substantial enough to support a rifle securely across the body. The quick adjust feature allows the sling to be cinched down tight for hands free work or loosened quickly for active shooting. Offered in OD Green the Hydura gives tactical and field users a proven sling design built for serious use.
