Underwood Ammo Xtreme Penetrator Features The Underwood Ammo Xtreme Penetrator drives a 300 grain solid copper bullet to 1400 fps in .480 Ruger a combination built to deliver maximum penetration on tough heavily muscled game. Because the bullet is machined from a single piece of copper rather than relying on a bonded jacket and core there is no risk of separation on impact even at high velocity and against dense bone or muscle. This solid construction also means the bullet retains nearly all of its original weight through the penetration channel driving deep and straight rather than fragmenting prematurely. Underwood Ammo built this load specifically for hunters who need confidence that their bullet will reach vital organs regardless of shot angle. The .480 Ruger cartridge is already known for its heavy-hitting performance in large-frame revolvers and pairing it with the Xtreme Penetrator bullet pushes that capability further for dangerous game hunting. Shooters loading this round into a revolver built for the cartridge gain a level of penetration performance that standard hunting loads cannot match. Underwood Ammo specializes in high-performance handgun ammunition loaded to maximize the potential of each cartridge it offers. This Underwood Ammo Xtreme Penetrator load is available for sale at GrabAGun for handgun hunters who need deep reliable penetration in a .480 Ruger revolver.
