Ultimate Survival Technologies JetScream Whistle Features The Ultimate Survival Technologies JetScream Whistle is engineered without an internal pea eliminating the risk of the mechanism freezing clogging with debris or rusting shut after repeated exposure to moisture. Its durable ABS plastic housing is built to survive drops impacts and rough handling in a backpack or survival kit without cracking or losing its shape. When blown the whistle produces a shrill 122 decibel signal loud enough to carry over wind rushing water and other ambient outdoor noise that could otherwise mask a call for help. This volume makes it a dependable emergency signaling tool for hikers hunters and anyone venturing into remote terrain. At only 2.3 inches long and 0.3 ounces the JetScream Whistle is light and compact enough to attach to a keychain backpack strap or survival kit without adding noticeable bulk. Its flat buoyant shape allows it to float if dropped in water ensuring it isn t immediately lost during a river crossing or boating mishap. The bright yellow color improves visibility making the whistle easier to locate quickly inside a pack or on the ground in low light conditions. Whether packed as a primary signaling device or a backup to other survival gear the UST Ultimate Survival JetScream Whistle is a reliable pea-less option for emergency situations.
