Traditions Snap Caps Features The Traditions Snap Caps are molded from durable plastic and sized to the exact dimensions of a 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge allowing them to feed and chamber like a live round. That accurate fit lets a shooter practice trigger control and dry fire drills without the repeated metal on metal contact that can damage a firing pin over time. The bright red color is a deliberate safety feature making it immediately clear at a glance that the chambered round is a training aid and not live ammunition. This visual distinction matters anytime snap caps are used around others or during a function check after cleaning or maintenance. Shipping two to a pack these snap caps give a shooter enough for a magazine check or extended dry fire session without needing to reload a single cap between practice reps. Their plastic construction is built to withstand repeated firing pin strikes extending their usable life well beyond a few sessions. Traditions designs these caps specifically for the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge so there is no guesswork about fit or function when loading them into a rifle. For 6.5 Creedmoor shooters focused on trigger training maintenance checks or safe storage practices these snap caps are a simple and useful addition to a range bag.
