Traditions Sidelock Muzzleloader Cleaning Kit Features The Traditions Sidelock Muzzleloader Cleaning Kit includes a 50 caliber bore brush and a fire channel brush both designed to clear fouling from the bore and ignition channel that build up after firing black powder loads. A bullet puller is included for safely removing a loaded projectile without firing the rifle which is useful for unloading at the end of a hunt. The loading jag and cleaning pick round out the mechanical tools letting an owner run patches through the bore and clear out stubborn debris from tight spaces. Together these tools cover the core mechanical cleaning needs of a sidelock muzzleloader. Beyond the tools the kit includes EZ Clean 2 breech plug grease to keep the breech plug threads from seizing after repeated firing and cleaning cycles. EZ Clean 2 cleaning and seasoning patches along with EZ Clean 2 solvent dry patches are included to handle both the wet cleaning and the final seasoning steps of the process. A gun cloth is also included for wiping down the exterior metal after cleaning is complete. This complete package means a sidelock muzzleloader owner has everything needed for a full cleaning routine without separately sourcing solvents patches and tools.
