Talley Manufacturing Modern Sporting Scope Rings Features Talley Modern Sporting scope rings are fully CNC machined from aircraft grade lightweight aluminum alloy giving them the strength to hold zero under recoil while keeping added weight to a minimum on the rifle. Built to meet MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail specifications these rings mount securely to any standard Picatinny rail system whether factory installed on a modern sporting rifle or added as an aftermarket rail on another platform. The 34mm tube diameter accommodates larger riflescopes that have become increasingly common on precision and long-range builds. A low ring height of .969 keeps the scope mounted close to the bore line which helps maintain a more natural cheek weld and consistent eye relief. The Flat Dark Earth finish gives these rings a durable black anodized base coat under a color that matches many modern tan and FDE rifle builds letting shooters coordinate their optic mounting hardware with the rest of their rifle s furniture. Talley notes that lapping is not required and will void the warranty reflecting the precision machining built into each ring from the factory. Sold in pairs and weighing just 3 oz total these rings add minimal bulk while providing the rigid mounting platform a quality riflescope deserves. American made and backed by Talley s reputation in the optics mounting space these rings are a practical cost-effective option for AR-pattern rifles and other Picatinny-equipped platforms.
