Talley Manufacturing Modern Sporting Scope Rings Features The Talley Modern Sporting rings are fully CNC machined from high grade lightweight aircraft aluminum giving them the strength to handle recoil while keeping overall rifle weight down. Built to meet MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail specifications they mount directly to any compliant rail without additional fitting. The black anodized style finish offered here in Flat Dark Earth resists wear and corrosion through repeated use in the field. Lapping is not required on these rings and attempting to lap them will void the warranty so shooters can mount an optic and get straight to zeroing. Designed around a 34mm tube diameter and a medium ring height of 1.069 inches these rings accommodate larger objective scopes and night vision or thermal optics that need extra clearance over the rail. The two piece ring design simplifies installation on AR-15 pattern rifles and other Picatinny equipped platforms alike. Sold in pairs and weighing just 3.4 ounces total they add negligible bulk to a rifle build. American made and increasingly popular among AR-15 shooters the Talley Modern Sporting rings are a cost effective option for mounting a scope securely and reliably.
