Tactacam Reveal Wind Sensor Features The Tactacam Reveal Wind Sensor delivers real-time wind speed and direction data tied directly to a specific hunting location offering on-the-ground accuracy that is vastly superior to generic weather app conditions pulled from the nearest station miles away. On-demand readings let hunters pull an instant wind check through the REVEAL app for precise stand selection before heading out or for mid-hunt adjustments if conditions shift. A built-in e-compass provides precise wind direction readings with user calibration required during initial setup to ensure accuracy. The sensor continually collects and syncs data on a regular schedule keeping wind intelligence fresh rather than relying on a single stale reading from earlier in the day. Historical and forecast data review allows hunters to compare past wind conditions with current and forecasted trends helping plan smarter hunts around patterns that have produced results before. The sensor measures wind speed across a 0 to 55 mph range with an accuracy of plus or minus 3 mph and wind direction accuracy within plus or minus 22.5 degrees. Running on 3 AA batteries the Wind Sensor is rated for up to one year of operating time minimizing maintenance trips to the stand location. Designed exclusively for REVEAL 3.0 4.0 and Ultra camera models this sensor requires an additional subscription and wireless connectivity up to 50 feet to sync with its paired camera expanding the REVEAL ecosystem for serious scouting.
