TacFire AR-15 45 Degree Rapid Transition Back Up Sights Features The TacFire AR-15 45 Degree Rapid Transition Back Up Sights are machined from T6 6061 aircraft grade aluminum and finished in a black anodized coating that resists wear and corrosion over years of carry and range use. Mounting at a 45 degree offset from the top rail the set lets a shooter transition from a magnified or red dot optic to iron sights in an instant simply by canting the rifle onto its side. This rapid transition capability is valuable in both competitive and defensive shooting where every fraction of a second spent searching for a backup sight can matter. The low profile offset design keeps the sights out of the way during normal optic use while remaining instantly accessible when needed. The front sight uses an adjustable A2 post giving the shooter a familiar elevation zeroing method shared with standard AR-15 front sight posts. The rear sight includes dual apertures allowing a quick switch between a wider aperture for close range acquisition and a smaller one for more precise shooting at distance. Built to fit AR-15 and compatible rifles this set drops onto a standard top rail without gunsmithing. Shooters who run a primary optic but want a dependable mechanical backup will appreciate how quickly this sight set gets them back on target.
