Swift Scirocco II Features The Swift Scirocco II bullet carries the signature black tip that identifies the line and contributes to its high ballistic coefficient helping it carry velocity and energy downrange better than many competing hunting bullets. At 165 grains in .30 caliber with a .308 inch diameter this bullet suits a wide range of popular long range hunting cartridges. The jacketed lead core construction is engineered to produce positive expansion even at the lower velocities encountered at extended range ensuring the bullet performs as intended whether the shot is close or far. This reliability across a range of impact velocities is exactly what long range hunters need when shot distance cannot always be predicted in the field. Beyond expansion at range the Scirocco II also delivers controlled expansion and high weight retention at close range where impact velocities are much higher and bullets are more prone to fragmenting. This dual performance profile across the velocity spectrum makes the Scirocco II a versatile choice for hunters who take shots at varying distances during a single outing. As a component bullet sold in a box of 100 it is intended strictly for handloaders building their own ammunition and not as loaded ready to fire ammunition. Reloaders assembling long range hunting loads will appreciate the consistency and accuracy this bullet is designed to deliver.
